Songs with a melody, great harmony, simple tight musicians who were having a blast and they meant every word. The little staging the director did was not needed, just a band playing good old RnR. There were other acts that nailed it like Stevie Wonder, Joe Walsh and the new guy named Clark and an folkie from England. Keith Urban is also the real deal and the guy from the FooFighters can rock . After that total BULLSHIT. A bunch of posers, phonies making like their cool and soulful. Trying too fuckin hard, acting with nothing behind it. Who in Gods name let Kate Perry sing one of the most heartfelt love songs in rock history YESTERDAY. Shes so young and dumb she has no yesterdays. She didn’t mean a word of it and then she fucked with the melody. Are you kidding me. Guess who else performed like it was her night, not the BEATLES, Alysha Keys, I think is her name, singing LET IT BE like it was a bubble Gum pop song. Jesus did you READ THE LYRICS? She also thought to make the melody her own.  Sure why not fuck with one of the greatest songwriters ,simple beautiful songs because you know better. I know, I know, I’m getting old . NO I am old and guess what Rock is almost dead because the phonies are KILLING IT.  Eat me, stick with your stupid pop dance acts, hip this and rap on.”
